BRUNCH is back at MR. B’S!
New Orleans, La. (September 18, 2007) – Grillades & Creamy Stone Ground Grits, Oyster Rockefeller Omelette made with crispy fried oysters and creamy spinach, Classic Chicken Pontalba, Eggs & Pork Debris with house-made black pepper biscuits, Beignets with fresh fruit dipping sauce, and a to-die-for Chocolate Truffle Cake with raspberry and chocolate ganache are just a few of the many dishes created by Mr. B’s Bistro’s longtime Executive Chef Michelle McRaney and are now featured on the brand new Mr. B’s Bistro’s brunch menu.
Mr. B’s Bistro, located at the corner of Royal and Iberville streets in the French Quarter, will be serving Sunday Jazz Brunch each Sunday from 10:30 am – 2:00 pm featuring live jazz. Lunch is served Monday – Saturday from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm. Dinner is served Monday – Saturday from 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm and dinner on Sunday is being served from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm. As always dinner dining features live piano music - a Mr. B’s trademark.
“Re-opening for Jazz Brunch has made Mr. B’s complete. We’re thrilled and it feels great! The menu is just terrific – I want to order everything on it. New Orleans and Brunch go together and what a great way to spend a Sunday – good food, good music, good friends.”
Other well known Mr. B’s favorites also appearing on the brunch menu include Gumbo Ya Ya with chicken and andouille sausage, Mr. B’s Barbequed Shrimp, Bacon Wrapped Shrimp with stone ground grits and red-eye gravy, and Wood Grilled fish with lemon butter. For Dessert Mr. B’s Bread Pudding served warm with Irish whiskey sauce, Pecan Pie with vanilla bean ice cream, and ice cream filled Profiteroles with Chocolate Sauce help to finish off a great brunch at Mr. B’s.
Mr. B’s Bistro, operated by Managing Partner Cindy Brennan, originally opened its doors July 17, 1979 as part of the Commander’s Palace family of restaurants. After being closed to rebuild for nearly twenty months following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, Mr. B’s re-opened once again on April 16, 2007.
Parking is always easy at Mr. B’s by driving into Solari’s Garage at 721 Iberville Street, where a valet will take your car and you can enter through the back door. Mr. B’s offers discounted parking ($2 per car, 3 hours max).
Mr. B’s for lunch, dinner, or Sunday Jazz Brunch – B’s is back 7 days a week!
