MR. B’S BISTRO SERVES UP FINE DINING FOR A CAUSE
During DiRôNA Week 2005


New Orleans, La. (August 5, 2005)—Mr. B’s Bistro is among the hundreds of top restaurants in North America participating in an all-new initiative to help fight childhood hunger. DiRôNA Week 2005, launched by the Distinguished Restaurants of North America (DiRôNA) and Share our Strength, will be held August 22 - 26.

Mr. B’s will serve a three-course menu including an appetizer of Panko Crusted Shrimp with a Vidalia onion relish, a delicious entrée of Oven Roasted Prime Rib of Beef served with a potato horseradish and chive strudel and horseradish cream and for dessert Chocolate Molten Cup Cake topped with vanilla ice cream and raspberry coulis. The cost of this three-course menu is $39.00. Mr. B’s will donate a portion of the sales of this meal to Share our Strengths to assist their effort to fight childhood hunger.

The Distinguished Restaurants of North America was founded in 1990 as a non-profit organization dedicated to preserve and promote superior dining. A tribute to fine food an exemplary service, DiRôNA’s “Award of Excellence” is awarded only to premier dining establishments in the United States, Canada and Mexico. It is the only independent, anonymous restaurant inspection program in North America. To qualify, restaurants must pass a rigorous 75 point evaluation, conducted by a specially trained independent panel of qualified professionals and distinguished dining connoisseurs.

Mr. B’s Bistro, famous for its Creole cuisine with a focus on fresh regional products, is located in the heart of the French Quarter at the intersection of Royal Street and Iberville, a New Orleans landmark and celebrated food corner. Considered the original New Orleans gourmet bistro, Mr. B’s Bistro is owned and managed by Cindy Brennan, a member of the legendary New Orleans’ Brennan Family.

Mr. B’s Bistro lunch hours are Monday – Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; dinner hours are Sunday – Friday from 5:30 to 10 p.m. and Saturday 5 to 10 p.m.; and Rhythm ‘n B’s Brunch is served Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations are recommended and may be made by calling
